Lemony green beans with parmesan cheese

Ingredients
- 1 pound green beans trimmed
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 lemon halved
- 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Line a baking sheet with foil for easy cleanup.
- In a large bowl toss the trimmed green beans with olive oil, garlic, and salt and pepper. Squeeze juice from lemon halves over beans. Spread out beans on foil-lined baking sheet. Slice the lemon halves and add to baking sheet on top of the beans.
- Roast until browned and almost tender, stirring occasionally, about 10 to 12 minutes. Move roasted bean to serving dish and generously sprinkle with shredded parmesan cheese on top. Garnish with roasted lemon slices.
